My First Encounter with a Modern White Supremacist

This one is going to be black. Black, like that coffee that can kill you but is still somehow legal, black.

I Just Don't Get It.

Ok.

It is important to preface this post with the notion that I did not attain conclusive evidence that this man was an Aryan advocate.

We did not speak to each other once, save a grunt to for me to get off the seatbelt. I didn’t immediately recognize his affiliation either. The hints were subtle. Avoiding my gaze, uncomfortable shifting every time I moved an inch, and that fake smile wypipo give me when they don’t like my melanin content. A peculiar oddity was how he grabbed a pen shortly after taking his seat. He refused to let go of it until near the end of the flight when, I guess, he deemed I was no longer a threat to his existence, as if a pen would be enough to stave off the savage he may have believed me to be lol. He kept a journal awkwardly in his left hand as an excuse to hold the pen, but he never wrote more than a few words in it the entire flight.

I realized early on that I was incredibly uncomfortable just being next to him, thus my constant fidgeting. Kinda funny that we both intimidated each other merely by being seated next to each other. As if we were at war. I had the thought, too late, to ask someone of colorless descent to switch seats with me because I genuinely feared for my safety. I couldn’t get a good pic, but he had the neo Nazi cut.

And before some suckas say don’t judge by appearance, I’ma need y’all to start hiring Tyrone and Janqueisha, then I’ma need y’all to quit banning us from stores for sagging, then I’ma need y’all to stop wearing confederate flags, then I’ma need you, who specifically still somehow finds a strawman argument, to stfu.

Anyway,

The pen was interesting to me. It was the best defense in lack of firearms. It makes me question how it got to this point. The idea that I would decide to attack someone, purely on their skin color ON AN AIRPLANE. Like ol’ dude the air marshall ain’t waiting for crap to pop off. And that he felt, even though he had 60 lbs over me, that he needed a weapon to subdue me. Like what stories have you heard?

It made me think of a quote from a close friend about a week ago that I’m still unpacking;

All white people are racist.

That notion created a curiosity that I followed to this conclusion:

All white people are white supremacists.

Put the Twitter finger pitchforks down and let me explain.

I fly frequently, about once a month. I sit next to people from all over the world, but mostly white people. Two years ago they were the most friendly people I could meet. So happy, so peacefully unchallenged in their dogmatic superiority. Lately, however, they’ve been less confident that it will last forever, what with the news that there are now more colored babies in America than white babies and that their beloved hate group *cough* heritage is under attack. That or just generally more emboldened by Trump’s antics. I’m sitting next to someone on my flight back to school and he couldn’t even look me in my eye. Guilt? Pride? Hatred? Who knows/cares. I’m all for preserving history, especially the history that was literally burned to the ground for empowering people of color (Black Wall Street).
But you can put that racist sh** in a museum, ban it from making public appearances, scorn it, hate it, destroy it’s image, and be done with it. Until that happens, you, as the people clearly in power, condone it, use it to boost your own ego, and power your self-induced moral superiority over your fellow white countrymen who worship racist symbols of the past proudly. Its not helping anyone, you jerk. Y’all can shut down anything you want. Shut this sh** down.

Not all of you want to bash my skull in, but all of you benefit from the system that allows it to happen. And I get plenty of loathing looks from white strangers, plenty of white people who change seats or hold their things close when I sit near them. (This is crap literally happening as I type this while waiting in the airport. And it’s not a one off thing. I can’t make this crap up lol)

Look how long it’s taken for you to finally believe we’re in pain. It regularly takes 3+ different camera angles and plenty of times y’all still don’t care. Those are regular white people.

Let me stop rambling on these truths, y’all get the point.

That’s not how you end racism.
But its a start.

On Public Finance, February 2017

The only reason publicly financed health care and college tuition is even up for debate is because they are brought up. Sanders and Cruz illuminated how a few complex words can hide true intent during their debate over the Affordable Care Act. Cruz would use his fancy lawyer talk and Bernie would interpret for us commoners. Really frightening stuff, that most laws are written in this language with what I can only assume is selfish intent. People, it seems, are innately selfish. The idea that I have to pay for someone else to go to school bothers a lot of people. However, with that same breath we can have the biggest most unnecessary military budget on the planet where we pay for expensive technologies and single weapons that cost more than the man firing it’s annual salary. And don’t get me started on how welfare is figuratively and almost quite literally a drop in the ocean of America’s coffers. It’s easier to strip one of these cut and dry budgets than go into all the intricacies of military funding. Government propaganda of the 40s through the 60s should not still be influential today. If Americans understood what communism and socialism actually entails, if Americans would stop chasing an arguably statistically impossible pipedream and brilliant corporatist tactic of an American Dream, we might just be ok.

Thesis: Age 26

26 years ago I came into existence. The internal debate between whether soul or consciousness exists is especially fierce this day each year. I’m working on it.

What have I accomplished?
Taught a class, straight(ish) A student, Honors College, visited the East Coast, West Coast, and the Midwest, learned how to code, almost got featured in a magazine, and that’s only since January.
I’m doing alright, I suppose.

More importantly, The Human Race is in dire straights. We must come together to end the wars in the Middle East, to reduce Greenhouse Emissions, and to take back our American Economy. The Earth will live on with or without us.
I should probably get to work on this warp drive (and a more scientifically literate name for it). It’s not going to build itself.

I do not fear aging; I embrace it. Omw to sagehood.

Trump Card

The powers that be, the money that runs America, and the establishment media are afraid of Donald Trump. They will do everything in their power to stop him from becoming the Republican nominee. He doesn’t rely on their money since he’s rich, and therefore is not bought. They do not have power over him like every other candidate before him. The question now is how much power do they really have? Will they pay hackers to fix the vote counts? Will they slander him (further) in the media? Will they resort to assassination? If Clinton is the Democratic nominee, I believe they will give up on Trump and push with everything they’ve got to make her the president. She is owned by the banking and pharmaceutical industries and they will control her like they control a Republican. If Bernie Sanders is at the top of the Democratic ticket, they will stand behind Trump because they don’t want chaos in their party, which is what surely will follow with no presidential candidate to control. The nation may fall back into the hands of the people. If voters become disillusioned by the Republican party, all that’s left is to become a Democrat, and the wealthy elite surely do not want that.

What am I really saying by changing my profile picture to the French flag?

What am I really saying by changing my profile picture to the French flag? I’m saying I’m against terrorism directed towards western powers. How does this support those affected? Does each flag send money to the families? Does Facebook support intimidate the offenders? More likely, it stimulates them, because the kind of people who would blow themselves up are the kind of people who love attention.
And, honestly, what of Beruit?

Hilary in South Carolina

Hillary Clinton came To Orangeburg today to speak at one of her town halls at Claflin University, right next to the  esteemed South Carolina State University, and she spoke to a packed auditoriums Of Orangeburg residents. She spoke on the state of women in the workforce and equal pay, the failing public and private school systems, college tuition and student debt, and some other issues that Bernie Sanders already won our hearts on. Phrases heard very frequently: we need to do more…, I want more of…, we need to make sure… The point is she would bring up an issue without offering any type of solution.

She and her interviewer went back and forth for the first half hour or so, and then it went to questions from the audience. Hillary always had an answer, which is good. She also had a pretty decent grasp on the women in the audience, which is to be expected. But she left a lot of doubt in the air. Her interviewer was more welcome, I perceived, to the audience than she was.

One question asked went something like What will you do to get some of the money tied up in banks to the coming to the community? She started with saying how too much money is tied up in banks. Then said something along the lines of “I want to, without giving too much relief to the big banks provide support to smaller banks.”

Other than this, she gave very vague answers. She tried once or twice to use somewhat African American dialog that didn’t go along well. When asked about the problem with sickle cell anemia, she said answered with how it’s a problem that we need to solve.
This went on for the duration of her talk.

She knows what’s going on, she just doesn’t know what to act on and how to do so. She leaves a lot to ambiguity, so she’s not far displaced from the majority of politicians.

I didn’t think Hilary has the answers America needs before this town hall, and I don’t think she does now.
Bernie for president
